WHY UPDATE?The road network of UK and Europe is changing approximately 15% every year. Therefore it is very important to have the latest available maps in your Navigation System. New bypasses are built, one-way systems suddenly appear, and all kinds of alterations are introduced to road layouts. All this can be very confusing if you aren't armed with the most up-to-date route information.Note WHAT SYSTEM DO I HAVEGet into your car, push the Nav button, then the Option button on your controllerScroll down to the last item in the menu called “Navigation System Version“. It will display the currently installed maps

Order the relevant upgrade.

If you have a device at home which enables you to write to aUsb then we can send you the upgrade via the Internet.

Otherwise we can send you a Usb with the upgradeon it (additional charge of £10

The final stage is to install the upgrade in the car byplugging the Usb into the car's Usb socket and following the instructions wesend you.

The installation may take up to an hour so have the car running.

Insert the Usb into the cars Usb socket. The car will detectthe upgrade.

The Idrive input screen will come up. Type in the 20 digitcode we sent you by email. Then press OK.You will see it going 0 to 100%

The upgrade will start installing. You must let it complete before switching the car off.

 Hi Russell Just a quick thank you... maps installed and updated with no issues. The download took 3 hours 5 mins which the system did estimate at the very start. Maybe it's a slightly bigger update. It has made a big difference to my mapping. An example being the large motorway interchange at the end of the M57 M58 here in aintree is now fully updated with better accurate lane markings and junction features clear indication which of the 5 lanes you should be in.I would have no hesitation in recommending your business and purchasing again from you in the future.RegardsAl Neary

After being told by BMW and other 2004 E64 owners that the sat Nav system would need to be upgraded at an extortionate price to run the new sat Nav disc I did further research and found you. I loaded the disc and within five minutes it worked just fine.No software upgrade needed. I have used satnav upgrades on a

 number of occasions for both range rovers and BMW’s. The latest one was a 2018 bmw maps upgrade and the installed product is as usual, first class. Well pleased with my update mate! Took an absolute age to transfer in the car but well worth it.

I did the transfer from a 1TB hard drive with loads of other stuff on it. I reckon it may have been quicker using a blank high capacity memory stick

Anyway, I am now no longer driving across fields near Luton Airport and all of the features work perfectly.

Important Changes to Online Payments

Monday 14th March

We had reports that customers' credit and debit cards have recently been declined while buying online with other online shops as well as with us.

Big changes have been planned for months to improve the security of using your card online, and they go into effect on Monday, March 14th.

How will payments work from Monday?

•When you make a payment online, you’ll see a pop up asking you to enter a code from a text message, banking app or card reader

•Enter the code into the pop-up, your bank will authorise the transaction

•Done - it’s as simple as that!

Occasionally you may see your payment declined, don’t worry - simply try again.

What's going on?

Most major banks are boosting your protection when you place an order online starting Monday, March 14th, by asking additional security questions when you make payment.

When you order from any online store, including us, you will be requested to input a security code given by your bank starting Monday. This security code is often sent as a text message and is valid for only a few minutes.

Several banks have already implemented this extra step. You can disregard this warning if you're used to typing a security code.

Why do banks require this new step?

Banks are attempting to lessen the danger of fraud by ensuring that you are the one making the transaction when you shop online. They may confirm it's you by sending a text message.

Is there a way for me to opt-out of this?

Changes to online payments affect all online businesses and everybody who shops online with their credit card. You won't be able to opt-out because this is a legally required change due to new(ish!) European legislation.

What can I do to prepare myself?

Your bank will give you a unique code via text message each time you purchase online starting Monday; make sure your contact information is up to date with your bank and, if possible, add a contact mobile number to your bank account.

I have never ever had an update fail, or one that could not be completed succesfully. If you see a message saying "Navigation data imcomplete/corrupted",

then the main cause is either the files are not correct on the stick, or the usb stick is faulty or has bad sectors. This is easily resolved by starting from step one,

folowing the instructions exactly, and if you see the same issue again, use a different usb stick

If the car does not detect the update at all the causes are:

Incorrect file structure on usb stick

Other files on usb stick that shouldnt be there

Usb not fat32 formatted

Usb stick over 128gb

Bad sectors on usb stick/faulty stick

Files corrupted when downloading from google drive.
